    Remember the Powerglove?

    Imagine Powerglove 2 for wii...
Imagine a tiny wii-mote on each fingertip...
    Imagine the level of interaction...

    Would that not rock?

I'm not sure, Fred Savage is too old.

Considering how effective the Wii Mote is I think a new power glove would be much more effective than the OG one.

I say bring on a new model power glove!

All non standard peripherals fail horribly because there aren't enough games for them, they are cumbersome to use or just plain suck... and it's probably all three rolled into one. The Wiimote was created to make game play simpler, universal... a glove would be a step backwards.

Yes! Just look at the horrid failure of the Guitar Hero guitars and assorted peripherals!

    Oh, no, wait... [IMG]

How would it be a step backwards? Wiimote technology on each fingertip would give 1000x the control potential of a wiimote and it would be even more accessible.

Grab, point, flick, punch, slap, stroke, nip, tug... I could go on.

Re-read what he said. Yeah, technically, it would be superior. But you'd use it for maybe four games over the lifespan of the console. Three of which would be Mario Party sequels.

There's a reason the wiimote is there from the start, and it's because now you can make shooting, fishing games, etc... Without having to sell an extra controller with your game (the very reason guitar hero is gonna fail on the wii)

Maybe as the standard controller for wii 2 then?

2 wii-powergloves (L&R) would be the ultimate interface. You wouldn't need any extra controllers either - just holding a stick in a powergloved hand would replicate fishing, tennis etc

I don't think that's a very good reason. If anything, I think the reason will revolve around what fans already have. Fans of Guitar Hero will likely already have a guitar or two for the PS2 or maybe the 360. Even then I don't think it will nessicarily fail, especially with some of the tracks I'm hearing of.

I just hope they find a way to cut costs in the guitar. Maybe by snapping in the Wii Remote? Bah, speculation.

Anyways back on topic. Please. No powerglove 2. Just. No.
