This is very weird and its only just started today, ive noticed that whenever i stop playing a game on my wii and turning off the console via its power button. Instead of turning off it goes to the safety screen

I like it being on standby "orange light" rather then fully off "red"

does not make any difference, orange is when you have WiiConnect, red when WiiConnect is OFF

you mean, as soon as you press the POWER Button, it reboots the system as if you pressed the RESET button, right ?

does it happen with retail games or only with a backup launcher/loader ?
