CycloDS is the best flashcart
It plays all game fine
For GBA games you need an expansion slot-2 pack (like EZ flash 3in1)
I think no flashcart can dump games, but I might be wrong

I wanna throw my R4 ( the super original one! no I no GOld no nothing the one that doesnt support SDHC etc etc ) away to get something that supports SDHC runs moonshell and other homebrews like beup. I also need the basic functions and stuff. Am living in SG and the avg cost im looking at is 25 SGD . am currently using R4YSauto but as you know. It doesnt support SDHC and i have a 8gb sdhc on my hands which i really wanna use it... 2 GB is like.... too little i add almost eveything into my Ds lite =.= Oh yaeh i also use the cheats from here and i hope there is a saving function too...

That's all I am looking for please recommend me a flashcard. Thank you T.T

I guess the EDGE could work for you. It has Real Time Save, but I don't know how good or if it has any bugs... Since I haven't tried it yet. I use the AceKard 2 which loads my games fine, and does what ever the R4 does.

It can run YSMenu, akAIO and the original AceKard firmware. I recommend using akAIO since it seems to be the only firmware that gets updated...

The EDGE, has a very similar GUI/OS to the R4DS and CycloDS Evolution. Recommend the EDGE if you want that saving feature... But both of these flashcarts support SDHC and can use cheats xDD.

I recommend getting from DealExtreme.com... Since it has the cheapest prices... But don't know where else to buy from...? Unless you are willing to wait... And wait... I suck at Geography but if Singapore is in China, than waiting for something at DealExtreme shouldn't be a problem for you since it is based in... China I think xDD. If not, some country in Asia.

- CHeats function
- the changing 512KB save file to 1MB savefiles ( i play pokemons plati)
- supports saving
- supports moonshell ( i need my music and vids incase my ipod dies)
- Supports homebrews such as Beup ( I use beup to msn while my com is off)
- the standard booting NDS games from the flashcard
- Supports SDHC TF cards

Special features? Most Feature rich card I can get, that also plays games flawless and gets updated regularly, having a built in cheat engine like action replay be nice too, would like it to save to the MicroSD card insted of to the cart.

Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular: Few have said Acekard 2.1 (AKAIO option), but not sure what AKAIO option is, and also what is this loader the sites that sell these talk about?

Also I found this card, is it any good? seems to have features I want and it seems to have everything I need. Hope its allowed to post urls.

Do not, I repeat, do not buy an R4DS!
It's utter crap, you will regret it!

And it doesn't even have Real-Time Save.

If money isn't the problem, you should buy the CycloDS Evolution.
That fits your needs, it costs a bit more, but it's well worth it.
It's the best flashcart out there, great buildquality, superb support, Real Time Save, cheats, ....

And if you want GBA compatibility then you will have to buy a slot 2 card too. It's impossible for a slot 1 card alone to run GBA games.

Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular: I have a G6DS Real which I am really happy with. My only concern is the small internal memory size and the lack of RTS. As such I'm thinking of getting a M3 or Cyclo as a gift for a relative.

cycloDS - it will last you forever with great compatibility with DS games.

for your gba games I would probably recommend a ezflash 3in1 to go with it. Make sure you dont get the plus version, as it doesn't have full compatibility with the cyclo (so far).
