wtf thats what i call lucky my friend : ) when i was 15 the only thing good gear i had was my fender 98' california stratocaster : ) and i saved my arse off for that hehe [IMG]

unfortunately i had to sell almost my whole gear due to my immigration progress. i immigrated to australia
because i couldn't advance in my career as a musician in germany.

    in germany:

    fender 98' strat
squier telecaster (modified, the only original part is the body)
    martin john mayer sig model
some marshall 80w amp (it was something with 880 : )
some pedal (dunlop wah, boss tuner, boss chorus from 86', ibanez tubescreamer)

    now:
    squier telecaster
asthon acoustic guitar for like 200 bucks : (

i'm saving up for a new strat and a decent acoustic guitar. i really like the australian brand maton, i like those guitars even more than my beloved martin : ) oh yes, i also need an amp : ) but a fender reverb will do : )

luckily i still got my software (reason 4.0, fl studio 7), so i still can compose and write/record decent music.

but i'm getting more and more into classical music for games/films. so check it out (link in sig) : D

I am lucky. I worked crazy hard at the worst job ever (mcdonalds) to pay for the restoration of the V and for the entire Les Paul. But heres what my dad has lol.

    Dad:

    > Paul Reed Smith - Modern Eagle
    > Paul Reed Smith - Custom 22
    > Fender Strat
    > Fender Strat (not sure about Fender models but they are definitely not standards i.e. deluxe or whatever)
    > Some dobro thing lol
    > Collings acoustic
    > Fender Supersonic amp
    > a bunch of keyboards and other things

    My Brother

    > Tama superstar limited edition (corny name but punishing drum kit trust me)
    > Gibralter Double Kicks
    > Some expensive electric drumkit (so much fun)

We also have a soundproof room in our house. Musical family you might say lol.

the prs guitars are damn sweet, but they don't suit me. i'm just so much of a fenderboy : )

i worked at hungry jacks and dhl ust to pay my guitar off, so i think we're sorta even in this point hehe.

i play a little guitar (surprisingly its only one of the things i can do)
what is a guitar (100-300$ i guess) that is suitable for semi-beginners?
im not like a rockout guitar
but more like chords and stuff

If you wanna start off on electric then get a squire strat starter pack. you get a very basic guitar and a small amp and a strap and picks etc. Everything you need to kinda get used to the idea of it all.

I live close to Woodwind and Brasswind (huge store!) and picked up a $180 cheap Fullerton bass + amp. Sucks, a lot, but good for learning.
