Well ... I know some ppl are wondering this ... I'm not to sure if there is a topic for this but I figured I'd start it. So far all I really know is that Worms 2 needs Arm7 fix ... Any other major games require it?

All of those I've tried from the other topic except Worms do NOT need a fix on the R4 (e.g. Sim City).

1371 - Simple 1500 Series Vol. 21 The Fuhyou Bitai de Shutsugeki! Senjou no Inutachi (J)(iND) doesn't work on R4 without ARM7 fix.

Newer roms, like DK Jungle Climber, Sonic Rush Adventure, Jam Sessions, Freshly Picked Tingles Rosy Rupeeland, they all work fine without ARM7 fix.

I'm glad that I only had to patch 2 games, but I think more will come [IMG]

hmmm, maybe that explains why sim city DS is super slow when i am playing it? it needs this arm7 thingy fix? i thought it was my micro SD card or something but this is the only game that i have slowdowns with.

The ARM7 fix has nothing to do with slowdown. The only thing it can fix is problems with saving your game.

Simcity needed the ARM7 fix, but most flashcarts have an update that make it save correctly without it.

Sim city [J] rom is used as donor rom for the Arm7 fix ... It does not need fixing .. it is used to fix other roms !

It's means that you're not using an R4.

Ok this is a serious issue because it looks like a R4, talks like a R4, and acts like a R4. Any suggestions on what I can do about this?

--Edit-- Yeah I agree it can be a bad dump, even though I tried two already (that could be the same dump). I'm too lazy to dump it myself at the moment, so I'll just have to wait and hope for the best....

Wierd that it just goes into the white screen at the same spot every time at the beginning, so that is a good hypothesis.

Looks like Jewel Quest Expedition doesn't work on the R4 DS. Runs, plays intro screens, then says "cant load data" or something. Similar problem... so I assumed I could apply the same ARM7 fix to it. I tried, with no luck tho. Still gives same error. Anyone have a suggestion?
