I just thought of this after having been bitten by save corruption for the second time:
How about a homebrew that, when run, simply copies all .sav files into some backup folder (probably with a subdirectory in the form YYYYMMDDHHmmss) and then quits? I'm much more likely to run this once a day than I am to backup my .sav to PC.

Does something like this already exist? Or is there already a better way to do this?

There is no such thing as a "cia loader". Cia is an archive format. That's like asking for a .rar loader. Doesn't make sense.
