I think we need to post our discussions about cover art here. This will keep this from getting too many posts in this section of the forum.
I am willing to change my post every couple of days, if you want me to write free alternatives or anything else of the sort. I just figure it is better to have one thread, then to have 10 different threads, and for this converation to carry over to other loader threads. We have gotten way off topic, so I thought I would create this off topic thread for all to post in.
So let me start this off for everyone.
I fully understand why some people would want to pay for bulk downloads. It makes sense, and hey it's $1. However, there is a matter of principal that is lost in all of this. I realize the "newer" generation has no respect for the scene any longer, and do whatever they like, and post whatever they like, and mess up great sites like this one with those posts. But there is one cardinal rule that has existed forever. You know what that is, honor amongst theives.
If your in this forum, your cheating the system in one way or another. No backups are not legal. So your either making back ups because you feel like you have a right to the information that is on the disk you purchased or you are just downloading the games and playing them. So you my friends are all breaking the law in one way or another.
I am not here to argue that point, as we are all guilty. But there is another extent that people take things to, that is wrong. Some of you may not have the money to buy your kid a game, so you grab it on line. OK, that is fine. Others will download the game, and burn the game for friends. OK that is fine. But others will take the game, burn it, and sell it for $20 a pop to others. See that is not cool.
First off, the person doing this did none of the work to get that game, to upload that game. To take the risk to be jailed for doing it. But the person selling that game takes that work and sells it. Now, this is a thin moral line here. Considering it is all stolen information. But noone should profit off of this stolen information.
Now, having explained that basic principal. I want you to use those points and explain to me how djatz is doing something right. First off, all his artwork is donated by others who rented or bought those videogames. They upload it to him to keep his site going. Now, let's be realistic. How many people here are going to his site for other reasons besides for usbloaders. I had no clue his site existed before all this information came about. He realized this, and decided to profit on it by asking for "donations". If you "donated" you can get access to use his services on your usbloader. Mind you that his services are created by the "scene" and not him alone.
Now, on top of this, his story changed more times then I eat in a day. First, it was bandwidth issues. Second, it was resources on the server. Now, there is no issues, but people still have to "donate" for the priveledge to download in bulk to their usbloader from his site.

Your a piece of shit. Here is the reason. If it wasn't for the scene, you wouldn't have your site. Your site is only made possible by
-Those who rip the games.
-Those that found a softmod method
-Those who wrote USBLoaders
-Those who took their time to scan and give you the covers
None of these people tried to profit off of this, but you did. That's why your a piece of shit.
If you didn't try to profit off of this, then just explain why:
1- You refuse to host no converted small sized images for usbloaders?
2- Why after everything is resolved, you still require a "donation" to use your site for usbloaders?
I know you won't answer these questions cause you are full of shit. I thought about what you wrote in terms of helping the scene. You haven't helped shit.
- You hosted files. Big fucking congratulations.
- You wrote a script for usbloaders for mass downloads, which you deem is honorable. It's not honorable when you charge for it.
- You claim your site is free, but noone uses your site for shit besides automatic downloads through USBLoaders.
In either case, all opinions are welcome here. Let's keep the rest of the threads in here clean of these conversations.
