After. I just installed the CIA (AGB_FIRM-PatchedV1-0004013800000202.cia) from that ISO site to NAND via DevMenu.

No, your information is accurate. It just applies to the o3DS, not n3DS.
o3DS Cakes users have to choose between GBA/DSiWare or games such as Smash Bros/Monster Hunter (games that reboot when exited).
You can't do both. This is why I recommend people to use AuReiNAND, as it allows you to do both without a compromise.

Don't ask me I'm not the CakesFW dev.
He just hasn't to add it in I suppose.
For now, just stick with AuReiNAND, as I assume it'd get pretty annoying quickly to not be able to do both.

I can confirm this as well on AureiNAND. I used the BIOS AGB_FIRM from that ISO site and patched it after a9lh. I did everything in Plailect's guide to the T and then patched AGB_FIRM with BIOS (the normal one would not work).

Why not?

Basically without the reboot patch on o3ds, GBA games will work. Without the reboot patch though games like Sm4sh won't work. So you have to choose to use one or the other on o3ds.
