... it's PATCHED! Looking at winRAR it was last edited in February... and loading up the game shows me a different Heart Gold logo (I can't remember which translation's it was).

i thought i found the real usa version heart gold downloaded it noticed it was a old patched jp version so i edited my post.

I was referring to the French version, which elixir reported. Which IS apparently real. So try again.

the french version is LEGIT for sure
codes are different from the J and K version
needless to say more about it ..
