    Hi!

My friend is selling his old PSP cause he's getting a new one. I thought the price was pretty great and it's definatly worth it.
Anyways, he's got firmware 3.52. Is it possible without having to send the PSP to asia or something to run homebrew on it?
I'm specifically interested in running PS1 games and snes emu. So anyone knows?

Yes it is possible, you just need to use the Pandora method to downgrade it to 1.5 firmware and then from here I recommend you install M33 3.52 Custom Firmware.

    Information on Pandora http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=76186

Note that you will need to get someone else who already has a homebrew enabled Psp to create the needed Memorstick files for you.

curious, can these 3.52M33 ones be downgraded back to 1.50 if you wanted to start over for some reason?

Any custom firmware should be able to go back to its original firmware.
