Hacking Possible to rip savegame off of retail Pokemon DS?

Well, for the last 3 days I've been trying to get my Action Replay MAX DUO to get a savegame off of diamond(Which then later could be converted for use in pokesav) I've even soldered it as some guides suggest- and it still is giving me errors. I'm wondering if there is another way to rip a save game off of a legit Pokemon Diamond cart, without use of a supercard or an R4. Since at this time, I have neither at my disposal.

Any help would be appreciated- this has worn me down
