Hacking Possible to install and homebrew from 4.0?

As far as i know it's possible with bannerbomb(http://wiibrew.org/wiki/BaNNeRBoMB) and the Hackmii Installer(http://bootmii.org/download/).

Did anybody write a really nice guide on how to do it? If yes, could somebody bug the moderators to replace this sticky thread:

It was asked for a homebrew guide and not for a softmod guide. I really would recommend to start softmod guides at the point where the homebrew channel is installed anyways, there are much too many people thinking team twizzers/HBC/twilight hack/BootMii had anything to do with backup launching.
