Hello! I am interested in dumping the physical nand from a new nintendo 3ds motherboard. It seems that I have to solder to some pinouts, connect wires to a sd interface, and connect to the PC.
However, a lot of tutorials I've seen rely on powering on the 3DS to be able to dump the nand. I have a motherboard that does not power on at all, not at the fault of the fuses, nor battery, nor power button, nor any cable connection. I unfortunately do not have the skills or knowledge to continue checking what might be wrong with the motherboard itself.
Therefore, I'd like to ask this: for a motherboard that cannot power on, is there a different approach I can take to being able to read/dump the physical nand data? Or, is it impossible to do so without finding a way to power on the device?
