Probably a over asked question, but may I have suggestions for PSP (UMD, or download) & PS1 classics I may like?

I have:

UMD
Dracula X Chronicles
Resistance: Retribution
Final Fantasy II [I think it's was Japan's III for the Famicom]
Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VIII
God of War - Chains Of Olympus

PS1
Symphony Of the Night
Castlevania Chronicles.
Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VII

Genres I like:

Adventure
Action
Action-Adventure
RPG
Platforming
Strategy game [To some degree]
Simulation [Though mostly it's The Sims & SimCity]

& That's it for the games I have for the PSP [3000] & I think I have about $10 on my PSN account

There's a Stickied PSP Essentials thread, try browsing for suggestions there....

As for my own, I'd recommend CRUSH; It's a bizzare/new way at looking at puzzle/platformers...

NES/SNES/GBA Emu's
Disgea (JRPG/Strat)
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona
Xenogears RPG
Star Ocean (SNES) (or PSP)

Isn't chrono cross (& or trigger) not on the network yet? Or do you mean PSP CC/CT [UMD]

Custom Firmware, it allows you to pla,y (find) or manually convert your PSX games to PSP (Eboot) format.
That being said, no, they're not on the Playstation Network, (well, Grandia is), but that's besides
the point. There currently aren't any PSP CC/CT UMD's.

If you search around the interwebs, you'll find plenty of old PS1 games have been
converted to PSP format. I won't tell you where to find them, but it's really not that hard
if you use your imagination.

To be honest, if your not on CFW, the only real "reason" you have is because you have a PSP-3000
in which case you should pick up Grandia and wait for the slow millennial release of all the old PS1 gems
like Xenogears, Legacy of Kain, Legend of the Dragoon, etc.

I do have a 3,000 on 6.2. I'd probably prefer it that way. Unless there is some incredibly easy method of getting custom firmware on a 3k w/6.2 and very little chance of bricks I doubt I'll try.

Yeah, Stay OFW then... That being said, consider
Shin Megami Tensei Persona (SRPG) Possibly Disgaea (doesn't take itself seriously at all).
Grandia (Action RPG) Oh! If you haven't tried Patapon, it's a great Rhythm-Platformer (sort of)
