I did just about everything, passed through firewalls, pass through anti-virus programs, and the other various ways to connect to the hax and none would work and always crash at the start of the exploit. I ended up finding a solution right as I was about to stop attempting so maybe this'll help you.

If your PC is on wireless connection, hook it up via an ethernet cable. For some reason this fixed everything despite me disabling all of the security settings on wireless. Hope this helps.

It has nothing to do with being wired or WiFi, it's just how fast it pings back and forth, and there's also the fact of you knowing your IP address.

Depends on the router. Like, I've been able to play peer to peer with people on certain games, but with wireless I can't connect to certain to people and this is a Comcast router and I've tweaked all of the settings.

Some routers just misbehave with stuff like this.
