Hacking Possible brick?

Hi guys! i just got my wii from HK. its a korean wii modified to have english menu. it is 4.Ou, it can already play pirated games (as of now, I only have 2, wii sports resort and COD:WAW) it has neogamma R6 and softchip loader. my friend said to first install bootmii in order to protect my wii. so I tried installing it. the problem is when I boot it up thru bannerbomb, it says "This installer can NOT continue!
There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.' blah blah blah.. so i searched for a way to make it work and found this tutorial wherein I have to download Wad Manager, and IOS36-64-v1042.wad and CIOS36.wad So I did, i accessed the Wad Manager using the bannerbomb since I can't access it on HBC ( i dunno why, but nothing seems to appear in it even though I placed the files inside in their correct folder like Apps and Wad) anyweiz, after entering WAD manager, I installed IOS36-64-v1042.wad just like what the tutorial said ( I did not uninstall anything). so after that, it loaded fine and returned to the wii menu. I then took out my SD card, placed the needed hackmii files (just like what the instruction said) and loaded up using bannerbomb again.. but now, the screen just becomes black. I tried using different versions of bannerbomb but it either turns to a black screen and de-sync my wiimote or just hangs. After that, I can't also access the HBC, neogamma and softchip loader anymore, it also turns to a black screen. however, I can still access the disc channel(which still plays my pirated wii sports resort), mii channel,photo channel and wii shop channel. Now i can only play one game since the COD only works with the softchip loader. did i brick my wii??
Pls., can somebody help me? I really just want to play games that I downloaded :,(
been sitting here for more than 3 hours trying everything with no luck Thank you in advance

sounds like you installed cioscorp since you can play burned games from the disc channel. usually the hackmii installer will find at least 1 ios it likes. i would get rid of that. that will give the installer lots of ios to chose from. but its up to you if you want to play burned games from the disc channel. it is possible to get the shit running without it.

maybe the downloaded wad manager is not renamed to boot.dol in the apps folder that is why you cannot access it through HBC. probably cioscorp. you have to uninstall it by the cioscorp uninstaller to return to the original ios or you could use dop ios.

edit: btw where did you download the ios36 wad? through NUSD? or you got it from somewhere else...this is risky if you just download it from somewhere else specially torrents.

@razorback - i did rename it to boot.dol, that's why I was able to access it earlier. regarding where I downloaded the IOS36, the guy from another forum who posted the tutorial also posted a link of his files which included the IOS36. my problem is I can't boot anything since it becomes black and freezes.
what is the name of CIOSCORP uninstaller? do I need to use bannerbomb or HBC to boot it? cause again, HBC just turns to black screen and also bannerbomb

be sure to read all info from the top to bottom to give you an idea what are you messing up with your wii and how risky it is. be noted to never uninstall any ios on your wii. uninstalling any ios may cause bricks. the uninstaller of cioscorp that i am referring to just installs the official ios by nintendo over the cioscorp's unofficial ios.

Try Det1re´s Uncorp to get rid of cIOSCORP. It replaces each cIOSCORPED IOS with clean hardcored ones from NUS. This will take care of your problem.
