I was surprised I couldn't already find this posted on the temp.
A short film titled 'Portal: No Escape' has recently been posted on Youtube depicting the first few moments of the original Portal game, but with a slight twist.
It has already received over 5.5 million views in 1 week and is a great success. More importantly though is of course the big question of 'Could this really make it to the big screen?'. Personally I really hope so but what do you think? I've added a poll to see the general view of it.

    Didn't like it.

The portal gun was hideous, and it didn't have the "Portal feeling" to it.

    Also no GlaDOS? Meh.

I agree about the portal gun but I think with a higher budget and if it was made 'more officially' if you know what I mean then it could be better. Also, if they made a full length film hopefully they'd get to GLaDOS later on.

(Also, thanks for changing the video size)

I think the reason you didn't find it is because AJ misspelled "escape".
I'll fix that in the original thread.
For my part: the portal gun might not look perfect, but for a low-budget short film I think it's just incredible.
I'd love to see a full-fledged Portal movie something like this.
    (But it MUST feature GLaDOS)
