Oh my, I miss my old Pokémon Mini.
I should check this out.

It's a tad slow but playable, I wonder how had it can really be to emulate the system?

there is a flash card for the system. might be a better way to go right now. the emulation is slow so far but he plans to improve it.

Well I don't have my old pokémon mini any more, that's the problem.
Besides if you can get Gameboy Color games (8mhz) running full speed on a DS flashcart, I'm sure Pokémon Mini (4mhz) can easily be full speed, with some simple optimisation.
Then again, might be an architecture thing or something, I dunno.

Are these Pokémon Minis rare..? I could only find one at eBay USA -- 25 $ without shipping.

I like the idea. Seems to be the 'Dwarf Fortress' of all consoles...

My purple Pokemon Mini was the greatest $15 I've ever spent on video game hardware (I got one at Pokemon Rocks America 2005 at Navy Pier). Yeah, there's barely any games, but it's so freaking tiny and packed with features and runs on a AAA battery for Pete's sake

I love my Pokemon Mini. I bought a Flashcard & Linker just to experience Shizzle on real hardware. It was worth the 70$. B)

The main problem with emulation probably is that few people really care.

If you like the Pokemon Mini, check out the Game King! Capability-wise it's a pretty similar system though it has even less pixels (48*32! O.o) and you'll have to do some work to get a Flashcard and Roms...
