Thank you so much, I'm a nooby in using pop-fe I remember this tool was suggested to me for Bugs Bunny Lost in Time then I got the game preconverted elsewhere because I could not convert it myself could you explain to an idiot such is myself how to fix this issue?

both POP-Fe and PSX2PSP are both good PSX games converter. POP-Fe is the updated one because it can auto insert configs to the game while PSX2PSP is obsolete THOUGH you can also insert configs manually via Hex Editor (like HxD). Both of them had different UI so its up to the user which one is understandable to you.. Are you familiar with Hex Editor?... and which converter are you familiar with? if you want to understand more about the PSP PSX Configs this is the site.. https://www.psdevwiki.com/psp/POPS

There is a fix for the slowdowns and stuttering on Brave Fencer Musashi? And what's the issue with Chrono Cross?
Yep its a fix to make the game more compatible to PSP remember the black screen after CHAPTER 1 transition?... the game will just black out and you cant continue.. and then of course Chrono Cross are you familliar with Mama Komodo hang up?... in official PSN Chrono Cross Eboot they already fixed it BUT how about when you create your own style of Chrono Cross eboot when you fight Mama Komodo the game will hang up... and then its annoying to go back to firmware selection (HOLD+R) when booting the game because you dont know whats going on curious but frustrated..

I'm only a little familiar with Hex Editor but it might be my better option since POP-Fe seems to be incompatible with my computer, I have Windows 7, unless I can just use my Android phone to convert it?
But now I am a little confused, I read the PSP PSX link you sent me and I think I have a better understanding, but now I have no clue, if I'm to use HEX Editor, which config file do I need for this game and how do I inject it into the eboot.bpb file?

you can use HxD Editor its at least simple to understand when searching the offsets and i think its much better to use a computer when converting your games as PSX2PSP is an .EXE file... https://www.psdevwiki.com/psp/POPS PSPDEV is where the infos about how we made Configs/fixes for PS1 games. You can read them so at least you will get an idea specially when you go to Compatibility Flags Section and External Compatibility Flags that is where you put the config to the game. Once youve understand or at least figure it out believe me you will gonna say that this is interesting. You can even make youre own config if you want to test some games that is not listed on POPS-FE config section. The config file you want is for Digimon Rumble Arena. You can download it at (https://github.com/sahlberg/pop-fe/blob/master/pspconfigs/Digimon Rumble Arena/SLUS-01404.bin) is it US/ and UNDUB right? then when you download it open it on HxD Editor...

This is the sample offset where you put the config and the appearance of the config when load on HxD Editor:

These are the fixes by the configs, correct? https://github.com/Defaultplayer001/PSP-Community-Update/blob/master/Pops Compatibility List.md

I'm playing on pstv. Chrono Cross is running flawlessly now. Brave Fencer Musashi still suffer the stuttering issues.

Hey tittie lover, sorry to bother you again, I followed the tutorial you sent me, first off, the video does not work for me, but following the instructions I have located _SLUS_01404 and now I want to copy the config data in there but I am confused on the part where they said leave a line (how, I press Enter it does nothing) and paste it under the ID, what exactly do I do here?

i dont know that one but this one is where we all archive our work https://github.com/sahlberg/pop-fe/tree/master/pspconfigs many PS1 games are listed on it and how about try the config of Brave Fencer Musashi here as on my PSP it works well on 6.61 Infinity and you dont have to go to 3.72.

Hey!!! Nice one sir... on Hxd search for the offset _SLUS_01404 game ID of Digimon and then on the left side OFFSET 0070400 just drop down 2 offsets until 070420 thats where you start pasting the config. When you load the config ALONE on HXD copy the whole offsets then paste it on your Digimon Rumble Arena EBOOT. Always remember to have a copy of unmodified incase you got errors. After copy pasting just CTRL+S to save it and VIOLA youve fixed your game..

Well it is your name 🤷‍♂️😅
Still no luck, here's what I did, using HxD I copied the data from SLUS-01404.bin then opened EBOOT.bpb and located _SLUS_01404 (second one, Game ID) then skipped the line under it and at the start of the 2nd line I pasted the data, it asked me to confirm I hit yes, I then saved it (ctrl+s), copied the eboot to my Vita but when I start it with adrenaline it gives me an error message that it is corrupted, same thing happened yesterday, idk what am I doing wrong, I feel a visual tutorial might help me understand my mistake or perhaps maybe the fix is incompatible due to not being a pure US version of the game but rather an undub hack? Idk.

Edit: Nvm I got it working, I figured out my mistake and will share it here in case someone else was having the same issue... I was adding the fix code lines instead of replacing the offset lines which increased the file size and thus broke the file...

Here is the correct way to do it with Hex Editor...

1- Open both the Eboot and the .bin fix file with Hex Editor

2- Locate the game ID offset (depending on the game search for SLUS/SLES/SLPS it should be the second result).

3- Once you locate the game ID offset, skip the rest of the line (offset) and the one under it and start highlighting the third line.

4- Depending on the number of lines (offsets) the .bin file has (in this case it was 17) starting with the third offset from the game ID highlight everything (17 lines in this case) then replace these lines (copy/paste) with the fix code.

Thank you for the help, game runs at full speed now.
