I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Mass Effect. There's very few games that look better than that to me. It's an Action/Adventure-RPG shooter that combines the brilliance of BioWare's previous action/adventure-RPG series KotR with the scifi structure of Halo, the spanning choices and customization of Fable, and the shooter system of Gears of War.

Oh, and I added PGR4 for ya'.

I read a bunch of reviews from many places about Assassin's Creed and I remember seeing "not perfect, but fun." So, I didn't get it, but a bunch of my friends who have it say it's "freakin' sweet"

I voted for PGR4, I have BioShock and barely played it and Assassin's Creed was fun but a huge let down considering what it could have been (and I completed it in just over a week). Not got Mass Effect.

I have both Bioshock and Assassin's Creed.
They're both awesome games: bioShock is a fantastic FPS, assassin's creed is nearly perfect in terms of graphics.
But... everyone I know that owns Mass Effect tells me that this is their favourite game. I'll see if I can get it.

If I were to choose between Assassin's Creed and Bioshock I'd go with Assassin because I'm a huge fan of these type of games (knights, swords, fighting etc.) and I'm not too much into FPS's.
However, in this poll I voted Mass Effect.

I'm adding my vote to BioShock over Assassin's Creed. While AC is a brilliant game, with amazing graphics, and that thing I want more than anything else in a game, a good story, BioShock wins. BioShock is absolutely original, nothing like it. It's an experience I immensely enjoyed, and I've not had that much fun or been that involved in a games character's and story in a very, very long time. Hence the recommendation.

However, I have not yet played Mass Effect (with any luck, it's coming for Xmas), so I cannot say that it is a better or worse game.

Gears of war and especially the live part will keep you entertained for hours.
Assassin's Creed next but from friends who finished it they told me the ending is disappointing.

Bioshock for me. The most complete gaming experience I have had in a long time. Mass Effect comes a very close second. If you have'nt tried Gears of War yet, then that is a no-brainer also. I played Assassins Creed for half an hour and was already bored with it. One dimensional gameplay and simplistic controls.

+1 for Mass Effect
I started playing it for the first time a week ago and haven't played anything else since. It's one of those few games that make me anxious to get home from work so I can continue playing.

Mass Effect, I am busy with my second playtrough now.

Massive replay value.
Gears of war is also massive fun if you have friends that want to play it with you, splitscreen.
This afternoon I had some serious fun with a couple of friends with GoW.

Mass Effect for sure, haven't stopped playing since I got it, loads of game for your monehs, and very very awesome!
BioShock, awesome but a one time play really.
Creed is a rental at best, serious let down.

If you wait a bit longer, Devil May Cry 4, Lost Odyssey or Condemned 2: Bloodshot.
I have all of the above except the ones that are not out yet.

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.

From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.

If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
