No, canonically there's actually a Link that comes before Skyward Sword as well. There was an exclusive Dark Horse Comics manga that was included at the end of Hyrule Historia featuring that one

I'd say Twilight Princess Link, though I think I like him more than the others simply for his scenes with Midna. SS Link gets a second for his bits with Zelda as well.

where did you see this? I though it was the same link seeing as in japan they just simply tacked on 2 to the end of what link to the past's title was over there to somewhat say they are connected

It's not a direct sequel, it's an indirect sequel. A Link Between Worlds is supposed to take place hundreds of years after Link's Awakening, which was after ALTTP, so it's a different Link.
