Hacking [Poll] Did you install arm9loaderhax successfully? (Installs After March 19th 2016 ONLY)

i have old 3ds Japan region, sysnand 9.2 and emunand 10.7 switch region to US, Rxtool CFW, ctrboot, and menuhax.

if i want to install arm9loaderhax, what's tutorial should i follow?

can i switch region again?

A9LH installed and working (AureiNAND autoboot) but now I'm trying to boot into my GW to convert all my .3ds saves to cia games.

But GW won't boot. I'm trying to boot aureiNAND by holding L to boot 9.0 SYSNAND but it doesn't work

If your EmuNAND is a different region than your SysNAND, I'd grab a new SD card and make a new EmuNAND.

OTP helper has a tendency to give false positives. Glad you got it working, but next time you should use GodMode9 to verify that the downgrade is successful.

I don't actually know. Given that you only modify the CTRNAND, it should be fine to change your system region AFTER you have a9lh installed, but you should wait for someone else to confirm.

@Plailect for what it's worth, on the n3ds I had a OTPHelper validation error on 000401300002f02. Another person on this thread reported the same problem. After checking mine I could confirm it was a false positive and continuing worked.

It's worth noting that I attempted the downgrade three times and each time it gave me the same false positive (I checked after each downgrade). Even though I knew it was a false positive I tried to get rid of it by attempting the downgrade again.

No, I just ignored the warning after verifying with GodMode9 that the hash was right.

Just installed it last night with the minor hiccup of a false positive on the 2.1 downgrade

This was done an a Majoras Mask N3DS XL that was on 10.7

If it's a false positive you can just continue I had one on the exact same spot

Yep, I got the same thing on a n3ds. It seemed to be a false positive after checking with GodMode9. Restoring it worked, but I'd check anyway

I'll go ahead and do that. I'm still a bit wary about proceeding. I'd hate to brick it since I don't ever want to go back to o3DS. My hands are too big for it. Thanks for the info though. Glad to hear it worked out for you.

@Plailect You were helping me in IRC, but I ended up just using an older revision of your guide to do my sons 2DS, since it didn't cause me any problems. That being said, thank you very much for your hard work.

Installed from 9.0. Worked like a charm, but I forgot to verify emunand after unbrick.

I've now been successful with a US N3DS XL as well (had the false alert TMD issue with 2 items this time but since I was aware of the potential this time around, it was only a minor interruption) and installed AuRei this time around.

I'm having a problem, emunand downgrade is successful, but otphelper says validation failed ;-; I checked the SHA256 and it matched too.
