Hacking [Poll] Did you install arm9loaderhax successfully? (Installs After March 19th 2016 ONLY)

Worked great for me. 2DS 9.2.0U
Had the 0004003000008F02 error while downgrading but the solution offered worked great.

Just a suggestion to make things even easier: consolidate all the sd files in a single archive so it can be a single copy-paste rather than about a dozen downloads and steps.

But all of the different downloads may be updated at any time, most of them are on github, so that would be quite some more maintenance on the guides end.

I think it's worth it to save the user some trouble. The only drawback most people cite about this awesome hack is the enormous time it takes to install it. (besides bricks o/c, but that's likely user error - another good reason to simplify the process)

It's just a suggestion, no harm done if it's ignored. Got my a9lh already anyways

OTPhelper failed when trying to validate EmuNAND downgrade. I got two TMD files when I checked in Godmode9. Both times with 000401300002f02

Just verify if either of the SHA-256s for the tmds is correct, if it is you're (probably) fine. I had 4 apps with 2 tms and after checking them , all were fine and I proceeded on my way. If neither tmd matches the SHA then you have serious issues.

I installed with the old a9lh system specific installer twice now and I had no issues doing it both times

Installed today. This time a New3DS_XL and the modified wiki from Mar 19 (with SafeA9lHInstaller v1.0). It works like a charme.

Yep, I got the same thing on a n3ds. It seemed to be a false positive after checking with GodMode9. Restoring it worked, but I'd check anyway

New Nintendo 3DS XL Black
Original FW : 9.9.0

- (Browser) Downgrade almost fail to 9.2.0 ( Error and 3DS msg to shut down appeared )
- But it's start and shows 9.2.0-20U even the downgrade didnt complete and error appeared
- I decide to update it to 10.7.0 and i did the downgrade again (Zelda OOT)

Downgrade successful with no error.
Reinand emunand and fbi installed, game installed ok.

Tried arm9loaderhax yakara steps.

Everything was fine, except for some steps (Paso 3 and final) that i need to tried over and over utill its works.
Was almost 8 times trying to.

New 3DS XL 10.7.0-32U with arm9loaderhax

But doesnt works with no MicroSd card inside and i need copy file to any microsd i need to use.
Fast boot.

I didnt like the fact that i have a chance of lose the console any momento after inject emunand 2.1 to sysnand.
Step take to long and something can go wrong any moment.

Arm9loaderhax loads payloads off your SD card, so it makes sense that it won't boot without a MicroSD.

I know about that. But it's not a really good deal. Because i lose the N3DS XL if no SD.
It's a kind of brick.

But my question is. If the MicroSD card fail to work and i have no copy of files. There is generic files that i can use? Or i will need my opt compiled files?

And so if i want to reset everything. Doest have this option?

The files on your SD card are generic; the only files that require your OTP are installed to the NAND itself. If your SD card fails, you can copy the generic files to your SD card again.

The easiest solution is to restore a pre-arm9loaderhax backup, which you should have assuming you followed Plailect's guide.
