When I dump my Pokémon X game from my original retail card, via Gateway 2.1, the resulting rom has save data corruption. Is there any way to fix this? I'm assuming it has to do with save encryption. I have a Datel Power Saves device and have tried to use "cart2sav" to inject the save backup from retail into the rom, also unsuccessfully. Anybody have any thoughts?

Nope it's not possible, the save was made for the real cart you can always get a gateway save backup but then you will be using someone elses save there is some saves with a big bunch of Pokemon to start off with with some of the unobtainables I.e diancie and the lati stones.
Maybe in the future it might be possible but not right now
