Goddammit Game Freak.

If you think you'll be able to use the Circle Pad in X/Y, you're gonna have a bad time. Roller Skates are automatically assigned to the Circle Pad, with no option to turn it off.

Meaning if you want to walk around like a normal person, you have to use the thumb-cramping D-Pad instead.

You can't even choose not to get the Roller Skates, it's forced %100. That's crap.

Awesome game up until I got the Roller Skates, though.

I was talking about the D-Pad. It's fine to use for small things, but for the vast majority of the game it's just uncomfortable. I don't have any problems with the Circle Pad either, that's why I'd prefer it instead of being forced to use the D-Pad.
