you dont need to add people to battle, just turn on WiFi and battle the people that passby

Most obvious difference is Mega Pokemon and the stones for them.

It's funny Imo, let's say "A" is in pokemon X and has a mega evolution. The Mega stone for "A" can only be obtained in Pokemon Y.
