Mega Banette is ghost-type. Gets prankster.

Mega heracross is bug/fighting is y exclusive. (Sine the pkm itself is only in y).
Gets the ability skill link.

Man, that Exp. All is fantastic, it doesn't take experience from the fighting Pokémon and the other Pokémon get half of what it gains.

The game is amazing, it's all I can say. Was disappointed that I still had to pay £34.99 even with my pre-order deposit, as the price had been upped to £40 by game. That's around $64 USD for those that use the currency.

Since you have both games, choose any starter then go to the first place which you can trade.
Do the same for the second game but with another starter.

after trading 2 starters to 1 game, restart the second one with remaining starter and trade it when you can.

This way, you will get the 3 starters + Torchic.
