So this might be a little early to be asking about it. But for those who are messing with flash carts to power level their pokemons and whatever other modifications they'll do, is it possible to upload the pokemon from that version to the cloud and into X/Y? I'm assuming the app directly pulls data from the ds slot so perhaps it's impossible unless you trade your pokemon with a legit copy of BW2 and THEN use the app to load into the cloud. Phew long sentence.

Explained a better way a few pages back. You just need the R4 Save Dongle or some Save Backup Manager. Then just upload your Flashcart save to the retail copy and thats it.

It's possible if you transfer the Pokegen'd Pokemon from the rom on the flashcart to a legit cart. I'd make extras just in case Nintendo is prepared.

I'm going to try that sometime this week, most of team will be new but I'm planning to send a Kangaskhan and Galvantula through the service.

Only problem is, the cloud bank storage service isn't going to be available until December, so we won't really have any actual answers until then. Btw which post # was the one explaining about the R4 dongle and stuff?

The story was never "wow" in the Pokemon games,the idea is the same in pretty much every game.

The list sounds fine to me. I've never really played a pokemon game for a long time, so to me it's 700+ new pokemon rather than 69. Definitely intimidating though not knowing much and trying to catch up on 6 generations of stuff.

Nothing to catch up on, they tell the story as it goes it's always fresh assuming you know nothing (good if a new player) and its the basics as you would expect chuck pokeball when low HP and catch.. Sometimes low HP + sleep, paralize etc etc.

As for the 700+ don't worry you wont be able to actually go out and catch that many maybe like 300 tops per game i bet its lower than 200 though. The rest you just trade for online with others or trade with other ppokemon games you have that do have the missing ones.

For seasoned players, you tell them a pokemon name and they can tell you what is the best skills for it, weaknesses and strengths. But for me it's just another cute pokemonand i'll be having it learn random skills that might not be optimal. The story, well, not much to say there. Won't be winning any awards.
