AFAIK, they've only confirmed the single typing for the starters' base stage.

mmm.... i was thinking, they will launch a pokemon xy 3ds(xl) bundle right?? because i still dont have one and waiting that, i always liked the special edition consoles and never got money for one, but now that i work i can afford one.

I feel you bro. There should be one but how easy it is to get your hands on one is the bigger question. I am just hoping that it will actually make it to Aus this time *sigh* TT^TT

hurrah we finally got a pure water, fire, grass pokemon starters im so going for fennekin he so cute i hope they release more new pokemon images soon i want to see more of the new pokemons

we have had pure water/fire/grass starters since gen 2 (not sure about bulbasaur as it have the poison tag...)... their evolutions is another case which has not been released yet

Does anyone know if it's more than 4 direction movement? In the video at 0:57 the way the character changes direction makes it seem like 4 direction. If it's still like that, I wont get this game. -.-

It doesn't need to be, after all, the character could be using the D-pad to make that sudden change in direction. Still, it's likely.

In my opinion I think it would need to stay a 4 way only movement, reason being is the trainer trapping that Pokemon games love to have where the player HAS to move into a trainers line of sight to initiate a battle.

Sight doesn't have to be along single tiles. Metal Gear Solid, etc.
