Gaming Pokemon X and Pokemon Y discussion/update thread

I really hope nothing gets hacked or save edited before X and Y have been able to live a good life without hacking killing it.

It's extremely likely hacked Poke's will be able to be imported from older games though

Emerald cloning glitch was the easiest and safest. Done it like million times to clone rare candies to level up and transfer those candies to my Pokemon diamond.

I just want trades to be more serious, rather than, "I dupe this and you dupe that then we trade".

I'm a bit conflicted. I'm too old to bother with Pokemon anymore and yet I will still buy it. In fact, i'm quite excited about it. In the end, if a PokeSav-like application is made available i'll just to it to make maxed EV/IV baby Pokemon, dump my starter, and level those instead. I also hack Pokemon for vanity reasons, as I don't like having the same color Pokemon as the other guy.

You have a copy of your save file, transfer your Pokemon to another game, put you backup save file in the folder. You have the same Pokemon and the Pokemon traded over. That's what he is saying.

It's possible. Digital release will happen as Nintendo is pushing 3DS titles for simultaneous eshop release.

I will clone for sure, if i have a good trade offer.

That's why I hope gamefreak doesn't make avaiable transfering pokémons of the previous games.
I know it's a bit "Unius peccata tota civitas luit", but that's the only way we can have a fair play in this new generation.
They could simply use an excuse about the incompability because of a new type(if that really happens), or anything else and simply do it.

No such thing as too old to enjoy Pokemon, but there is such a thing as too old to have fun with PokeSav.

Stop being butthurt. Pokesav is fine for many things, such as importing pokemon across saves and games, changing progress, fixing corrupt pokemon, importing .pkm files for events you missed, etc.

Like they say, hope is the last one to die.
I still dream that Nintendo will support remap buttons, configure screen and support super game boy on it's VC titles,
that they will abandon limit usage on demos, that they will support achievements,
that they will have an amaizing online and release real 3D classics(Super Mario World, Super Metroid, Zelda ALTTP etc).

A man can dream, can't he?
