heey guys, do you think they'll release the digital game in the eShop... that can got Pros and Cons...

Pros..
For someone, cloning Pokémon
Various Save Files

Cons...
I can't find any one xD

I'm curious because my Little sisters, both want Pokémon X... and if there's a Digital Copy... I can Only Download one Game for both... instead of Buying one cart game per girl... :S
I fail to see how digital release allows you to clone Pokemon :\ It should essentially be the same as the retail cart anyway.

And I don't think you'll be getting more than one save file. O_____o

Maybe you can copy the game from the SD card and download the game again with a blank save.

Yeah like downloading 2 copies on 2 different SD cards but I still can't see how it helps in cloning

Well it's not actually cloning, but if you had 2 identical save games on your SD and computer, then you can use one to trade your Pokemon to others, then inserting the other save again and then you would have your Pokemon again... (but not the ones your partner traded)

WHATEVER, it's in no way helping cloning, just speculation.

well... it's really simply... just copy&paste the info in your SD Card to another one and... yeah!! you got your save file multiplied.... that like a massive cloning Pokémon process xDD

something like... if you put one save of PKMN White 2 with all your pokémon in the computer... then in the FlashCard tranfers that PKMN to another game.... when you restore the save file from the computer, you'll have all the PKMN before the trade, plus the PKMN you have traded... it no have reason for FlashCards... but with 3DS, it do, why it'll no work??

Have you guys seen this on PokéBeach?
  • A Pokemon named Inkay evolves into Malimar. To evolve it, you have to hold your 3DS upside-down when it levels up (the 3DS has an accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can detect that). Malimar's type is Dark/Psychic.
Since there's gonna be a pokemon game for the wii U (inevitably) To evolve it, must I turn the TV upside down too?
I can't wait to see the many people who will believe that stuff. XD

Because the saves are encrypted, You can't do shit with them! If it was THAT ez, it would be done with all the 3DS games released to this point.

Than you Ninja'd me
I'd also like to mention that if it was that easy, piracy would be the easiest thing to do in 3DS.
Imagine if there was no encryption, and we just copied saves and games to the SD;
Damn, a man can dream can't he? :D

Well, at least PSP worked like that :tpi:

He's not recreating or changing the data inside, is he?

You have a copy of your save file, transfer your Pokemon to another game, put you backup save file in the folder. You have the same Pokemon and the Pokemon traded over. That's what he is saying.

And that's exactly why you can't do that. It's not only a matter of tempering with it. The other 3DS will refuse to read it due to it's encryption. Only the 3DS that generated the save file can read it, as far as I understand.

Why would it refuse, when you're trading to a different game, not a copied one. For cloning it will require you to buy two Pokemon games. After trading, you have to place your backup savefile in the SD so your Pokemon savefile will be just like the one before you started trading and trade the traded ones once more. Long process.

Oh lol, yeah that works actually. Which is why they better not release it digitally. XD
