Pokemon wants to make a live action Pokemon Movie

A top-secret auction for film rights to the Pokemon franchise is nearing completion with Thomas Tull’s Legendary Entertainment attempting to nudge aside Warner Bros., which has pursued the property aggressively, according to sources. Sony also is said to be very interested.

It originally started with the thoughts that Warner Brothers would make it since they made the First pokemon movie Pokemon: The First Movie however, now there is a new competitor known as Legendary

The Jungle Book movie's getting a lot of praise, including its special effects, so a live action Pokemon movie could go for those kind of bells and whistles for the creatures. I hope Sony Pictures doesn't get the rights, they've been rather cancerous since the 2014 leaks. I'd rather go for Legendary.
