I've only used Checkpoint to back up saves without any problem so far. Could you provide more details on what do you mean by not working?
Yeah I cant get this shit to work on Edizon Nightly build.
I've tried the new files that are on page 70. I've made sure the TID matches on the atmosphere directory. Just nothing is coming up in the cheats menu.

It tells me operation aborted by the user every time I try to backup my save using Checkpoint. Edizon doesn't show my saves at all even though it says save successfully backed up.
I don't use Edizon so I can't advice on that. What version of Checkpoint are you using, though? Make sure you have the latest version 3.7.3 and that you don't run Checkpoint in Applet Mode.
If you're not running it on Applet Mode, you can try using version 3.5.0 since some people had reported using that one works better.
There's one posted by @AnalogMan a few pages back. Please try to use search feature next time. This one only works for Sword.

Can someone please post a working glarian ponyta encounter code as it seems the encounter codes stopped working for me as they stopped appearing all together......
As I said the random encounter code does work on both Sword and Shield, but it works randomly, so you need patience, also I've been holding the R button just in case, but I'm not 100% percent sure if that's what triggers the encounters or not, in any case, try this one and remember to be patient.

I can confirm this actually works fine in Shield. A majority of Sword codes do. Most, but not all.
