Huh, all of my currently changed settings don't have the semicolon removed and they take effect just fine. Also don't forget to delete the ; in front of : ; dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1
You use those with PKHeX, not on-console cheats.how do .pk8 files work? do i just paste them inside the game's cheat folder?
might be a dumb question but how do .pk8 files work? do i just paste them inside the game's cheat folder?

Export save file with Checkpoint, load it into PKHeX on your PC, and drag and drop the .pk8 file into the PC Boxhow does pkhex work?
PKHeX is updated alreadyupdate on pkhex soon
You have to use the new list (that hasn't been translated yet) and also set atmosphere's settings to not load cheats automatically on launch, but it works. As of right now cheats don't work even if you change the name of the txt file
Here is some info about the Title ID and Build ID's. As of right now cheats don't work even if you change the name of the txt file, when you load up the game it just crashes. Hope we may get working cheats and an update on pkhex soon.

Mm, true. But at least it shows that cheats are possible to use without an Edizon update or a "master" code (à la Action Replay codes of old). From what I can tell, those codes are just codes that work in both v1.0.0 AND v1.1.0. (ie: Catch Rate is 100% is same in both versions.)
Dumb idea, but maybe it completely prevents shinies?WTF is the purpose of having OFF codes?
In terms of the Chinese Code list...
In order based upon Google Translate:
- [方块闪光] = Blocks Flash ~ aka Square Shiny
- [星星闪光] = Stars Flash ~ aka Star Shiny
- [闪光(关闭)] = Flash off ~ aka Shiny off
- ss
Side note: WTF is the purpose of having OFF codes? It's the stupidest thing since Square Wheels and Square Shinies!
From what i remember, if im not mistaken, some codes only work like this and doesnt have a toggle (hold a button) option and it made changes to the game internal data. So unless you turn on the "OFF" code, then even if you turn off the "ON" code, every encounter will still be shiny.
But that makes no sense. Why spend the time resetting when you can just enable a code? What if you're in the middle of a chain and closing the game would break it?So, save your game and close the app! It's not rocket science! You don't need a code to do that! Just common sense. (The code list I have for v1.0.0 - I removed ALL the HOLD whatevers from the codes and deleted from my master list all the OFFs. You don't need them!)
no, thats my point, even if you closed the game and turn off the 'on' code, when you turn on the game, the shiny code will still be activated. Since the code made changes to the game internal data. So, save your game and close the app! It's not rocket science! You don't need a code to do that! Just common sense.
No that can't be a thing. You can't change game data. It probably just changes RAM in such a way that even if you disabled the code it wouldn't change anything.no, thats my point, even if you closed the game and turn off the 'on' code, when you turn on the game, the shiny code will still be activated.
