What I do:
1. Get basically unlimited wishing stars (999 items cheat / pkhex your items idk)
2. Hold L while pressing A to clear den, Yes to save
3. Hold R while opening, Check inside if its the pokemon i like
if not, repeat from step 2

Is there a way to make Max raid battle pokemon shiny? I've tried the hold R and always shiny cheat, but the max raid pokemom never appear shiny. Ow, the NPC trainer's pokemon are shiny, just not the max raid pokemom I'm fighting. Anyone have any ideas?

Items are stored as a combined value of their quantity and item ID. So you need to know the Item ID you want to change and then do this math: ITEM_ID + (QUANTITY << 15) and convert that number to hexadecimal. That's the value you search for.

Great job with the Dens purple beam code. Works fantastic on Shield. Now that that works, do you think the den encounter could also be changed to specify which pokemon appears in it like the wild encounter code? Would be interesting to see if you could force a legit squirtle or something in the den.

You need a hacked Switch in order to inject a save.

The best you can have without a hacked switch is to have someone else trade hacked pokemons to you. And it's either very dangerous or outright impossible for hacked switches to trade online.
