Pokemon Sun and Moon SentinelGaming's Patches and ModsNOTE: To you few definition Nazis I know that these are mods, not patches. But SentinelGaming's Patches and Mods rolls off the tongue so much better. Hello! I'm SentinelGaming, and I make a fun Sun and Moon Patches. This is my thread that contains all of them. NOTE: These patches only work on the USA versions of the games. If you have a different region game and 3DS, plus the fact that you can read this, means you're smart enough to know how to make it work for your game. (Hint: Renaming, 3dsdb.com) Pokemon Sun and Moon Evolution Pack 1 Description: This patch adds various different evolutions that let you evolve all Pokemon that require you to trade them. It also lets Magneton and Charjabug evolve before Poni Canyon, because personally I think that is way too late through the game. Get access to your SD card some how. Out and in to your computer, N3DS microSD Management, I don't care. 2. Open the zip, and open the folder EvolutionPack1Sun or EvolutionPack1Moon, depending on which version. 3. Drag the luma folder to the root of your SD card. Put it back into your 3DS, or close out the Wireless program, and power off your 3DS. 4. Boot into Luma3DS configuration, and enable game patching. I followed the guide at 3ds.guide, and I press select to boot up Luma3DS configuration. If you followed that guide, that's how. 5. Open your copy of Pokemon Sun or Moon, and the patch should be applied. There is no quick surefire way to test it works, but if you followed the instructions, it should work. Pokemon Sun and Moon Skull Edition Description: This is a silly little patch that changes some of the UI text to seem "gangsta". Using yee, nope, wanna, and other silly grammar that might make you snicker a bit. Only covers some of the UI, very incomplete. No foul language used at all. Seriously, not even a dang or danget or whatever. Open your copy of Pokemon Sun or Moon, to test it works, get into a selection where the game would have you select Yes or No. It should be replaced With Yee or Nope. If so, the installation was successful. Have fun! For ROM Editors: I used pk3DS to edit the game text. If you would like to add this to your custom edit, I will let you. If you release it and use some of my work, link to this thread. skulledition.txt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9syot4klc14ougy/skulledition.txt?dl=0. Open pk3DS, select Game Text, and select the Import All (.txt) button. It will ask you to import a txt, and you can import skulledition.txt. Voila! 'Nuff said. <3 Megalegacy - for making the thread (http://kuribo64.net/board/thread.php?pid=66792) that taught me how to dump and rebuild roms, even if it was a little off and I had to figure some stuff out myself. Enjoy! SentinelGaming, signing off!
