I think the important question is, "where would sell early"?

I know wal-mart has a track record of not following release dates for pretty much anything. If you ask the right employee, they'll find the inventory and sell it to you.

The store in my old town never kept track of small item release dates. They had all of their amiibos in the back on a shelf because they were so small that nobody knew they were there until a bored employee felt like killing an hour of their time, digging through inventory. When the POS didn't allow the sale, they said ,"one sec, let me go grab a different one so I can get the right price".
