Hacking Pokemon Shiny Gold will not save on Wii VBA

I get this message

"The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed."


Then when I try to save the game I get an error that will not allow me to save..

It's because it needs to save as 128k but there's no option to do so on VBAWii.

Well besides the fact that the Emu needs an update...

You can save with the savestate feature...You just can't use the savestates on another game.

@harrybuttox, Is it me or does the game run a little fast on WiiVBA?

yes using save states works, except until you get to the elite 4, there is a forced "normal save" when you beat them. You can't do it, you can't chose to not save. You would effectively not be able to completely beat the elite four the first time, or continue with what comes afterwords.
Anyone know if the PC config file could be used in a directory on the SD for vbaWii to change the save size?
