Hacking Pokemon save problem

Hello!
I have supercard DS one.I saved my pokemon pearl.I my brother formatted my microsd card.I had a backup(pokemon savefile.). I restored my game and copy my savefile. If i started the game it doesnt load the savefile. I can start the game for the beginning. PLease help

Make sure both the .nds file (rom) and the .sav file (save) are named the same, for example:

If ROM is named: PKMNPearl.nds

Then must take your .SAV file and rename it to match the ROM: PKMNPearl.sav

Hope that solves your problem, if not, come back with more info so we can try to find out what's causing it.

i guess it's because the save file was too small at 256k.. the extra data i guess must save direct to the mem card; now it's formatted it's gone.

a 512k pokemon save file is needed as the game uses 512k for the save


i can see more having this problem where they use just a 256k save file.

could you please explain this? I still keep getting errors on my savefile .. I end up with a staravia and unknownsnumber ( a big question mark )

So how did you get it to work?
