The official Twitter account for the series is teasing an event being held soon, called Pokemon Presents, which will kick off tomorrow on June 17th at 6 am PDT. The Tweet itself is fairly vague, only mentioning Pokemon news in general, while the Japanese account offers a bit more detail, stating that (according to Google Translate) the stream will feature 11 minutes of new information about the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion Pass. There was nothing wrong with delaying the games so that they'd release in a complete state...

But that's one of the key issues with Pokemon's business model. They couldn't delay the game. The anime, trading cards, merchandise etc machines were already geared up. Sword and Shield had to release then, or the whole Pokemon empire would have had to grind to a halt.

So I tried Pokemon Smile and it kept telling me to brush harder. My gums ended up bleeding after that so probably not gonna touch it again. I see kids using it. New Pokemon Snap looks very nice though! Wish I had a Switch to play it. Also hope that we get a Gen 4 remake on the next announcement but it'll probably be more SwSh DLC.
