Also, confirmed: Trimmed version (i used that, now im using untrimmed) won't work with Wifi!

Wait, trimmed version doesn't work online? Do you mean as a whole, or just battling?

Because those who do the whole file replacement thingy with unpacking and packing kinda... get their roms automatically trimmed, whether they like it or not.

I've managed to score a few trades with people, but I'm worried about battles not working. )=

Dunno about the DSTT trims, someone needs to try them out.

I believe the Wifi Plaza works with my trimmed version. So does connecting and walking around in the Wi-Fi battle room, but actually battling (etc.?) doesn't seem to work.

Rashid, we can try out battling if you'd like.

I want to show off some PokeSave Monsters I made (not suitable for WiFi):
I use these guys on Platinum Enhanced (so post is on-topic, OK?).
Can these be improved on?

REGIGIGAS "Reggie" Item=Leftovers, Happiness=255, Nature=Adamant, Shiny, IVs=All 31, EVs=All 255, Ability=Rock Head. Reggie is my physical Heavy Hitter! Weakness=Fighting, Solution=Brave Bird, Strongest Move=Double-Edge (full STAB), pick any two of last three moves (I usually use all except Flare Blitz):

Moves For Rock Heads only (Otherwise user receives 1/3 recoil damage):
Brave Bird Flying Physical 120 100 15 (to kill fighters)
Double-Edge Normal Physical 120 100 15 (to kill almost anything else)
Flare Blitz Fire Physical 120 100 15 (move type kind power, accuracy PP)
Volt Tackle Electric Physical 120 100 15
Wood Hammer Grass Physical 120 100 15

SPIRITOMB "Spook" Item=Leftovers, Happiness=255, Nature=Adamant, Shiny, IVs=All 31, EVs=All 255, Ability=Wonder Guard. Spook cannot be hit directly for damage, he is only subject to status effects and indirect damage. He is an uber-staller and can also be a useful HM slave!

Moves for Spook (move type kind power, accuracy PP):
Shadow Punch Ghost Physical 60 --- 20 (cannot miss)
Faint Attack Dark Physical 60 --- 20 (cannot miss)
Psycho Cut Psychic Physical 70 100 20 (High Critical-Hit ratio)
Rock Smash (HM06) Fighting Physical 40 100 15 (or any other physical move).
Spook can eventually take down almost any opponent, even with just Rock Smash - but it may take a while!

I also use a Maxed-Out ARCEUS, Nature=Modest, Ability=MultiType as my Special Sweeper. Use any four Special Moves with the appropriate plate for the current location or to STAB (Same-Type Attack Bonus) a move.

I am going to play PPEE 1.3 again, from scratch. I started with a clean ROM and ported the save thru each version. PPEE is my favorite patch. It is harder and more interesting than the official version. Excellent job!

Ehh... what good are those Pokes if they are cheated anyway? (ivs maxed out etc)

edit: Oh, and i use Sandshrew (Cut, Rock Smash, Rock Climb, Strength) and [not my starter] Dragonite (Surf, Waterfall, Defog, Fly) as my two HM slaves, pretty handy with filling only two slots

I use Kabutops for my HM slave, with Cut, Rock Smash, Surf, and Rock Climb.
My starter is Gible, now Garchomp.

And I'm fond of using underpokemons (underdogs)!
Like, Nuzleaf for example.

Exploud is a "underpokemon" too. I don't use many "ubers" and have not used a legendary since GBA (all of my Pokemon Pearl legendaries have original captured exp and moveset) but I use the Pokemon in between... good movesets, not too over powered.
Gengar, Alakazam, Gardevoir, Umbreon, Espeon, Charizard, Bronzong, Porygon-Z are all some I like to use.
If you want real underpokemon, use a beedrill and butterfree lol

Actually, Suicune's found at Lake Acuity. I think you mean Mew...

And as to how it works, you capture one of each letter (not counting ! or ?).

What do you mean by no line breaks? If you mean no lines inbetween pokemon, that's because I wanted it to be viewable on multiple screen resolutions without distorting the guide too much.
Also note the guide was typed up with it displayed on a widescreen monitor...

Just beat the E4. Whoo! I literally SWEPT them.

First battle: Charizard @ Choice Specs, used X Special, spam flamethrower.
The rest of the battles: Feraligatr @ type-empowering item (Depends on trainer), used X Attack, spammed Waterfall/Crunch.
Cynthia was the only one I had to work a bit for, but my Dragonite/Charizard/Feraligatr raped her... Pokemon.

Hm.. How do I get the PokeRadar? Prof. Rowan doesn't seem to give it, possibly because I already had the National Dex? Oh well, I'm going to go catch Dialga and Palkia then visiting the "island" for now, hoping someone answers till then.

I came around to beating the first gym today.. Oh, God! This was so hard! XD. My Pokemon were like level 14 the first time around, so I was using Roark's pokemon to train by whiting out and repeating. XD

Your lucky that Pokemon isn't like most rpgs and when you lose it just says GAME OVER and you have to restart from last save point lol. I haven't lost against anyone yet, I've lost 1 Pokemon against Fantasia and Gardenia though.

dude he obviously didnt expect to have to work as hard in this game as he does in other pokemon games!

i dont think theres a chance of me losing, ive a level 35 dragonair before i even challenge the 2nd gy cuz it took me so long to get a damn squirlte....... ive kinda stopped playing it until i get my supercard so i can play it on the ds so ive gone back to the original PP game.
