hello, i am using mac fuilltering on my wireless router along with wep, my question is Can pokemon pearl connecet with other people for exampale exthange frieind codes and then trade if the other persons's NDS's mac adress is not in your routers filter, and your wep password? just woundering if i should bring down the mac filtering and wep to freind code with some one....

If you have a friend over and want to connect via WiFi, your friends DS's MAC address has to be registered in the router and he has to have the WEP key set in his DS.
If you just want to use Nintendo WFC with someone else somewhere in the world, it's not needed since they don't connect to your router.
