ROM Hack Pokemon HG/SS fix discussion

Been looking around in hex editor and there's a few things I've spotted that could possibly be related but there's far too many to know which to try.

Would it be a viable option to perform elimination? I know you said there's heaps but if one of them is the issue.. then you would come to it eventually..no?
I have no right to say this as I have absolutely NO CLUE on how to go about it but I just think that instead of trying to identify which one to use..perhaps do a head on assault on it?
It would be an issue if you had to change 2 specific codes though...
Good luck! For the happiness of people who want to play this game but can't afford to buy a retail one!

then try em all lad were all in the same boat here no1 knows the exact address of the ap where all trying codes that may work eventually 1 has 2

Still freezes even with all of the 00 00 00 00 46s removed, so I'm thinking it's not related to this memory location. How did you come to that conclusion, anyway? Just curious.

Lol tried it. Weird corruption on some sprites but the AP is still live and kicking. Resilient bastard.
