I have been using my JPN save from the begining it doesnt help at all.

If that means we have to inject a code like
CODE0410000C 02260344

I'm testing it right now.

Whats that code do?

And BTW, does this mean it won't freeze!? If so, Im starting my game over! I haven't even beat the first gym so not lost...

I have an old M3 DS Simply cart. Running R4 V1.24 kernel. I got to Route 30 and it freezes for me. The game is technically playable but the freezes are too annoying.

Is there a better firmware I could be using on my card?

You could try using ysmenu as this has better compatibility than the latest R4 firmware.

You can post a patch, not the rom.

when you get there, use pokesav DS to remove the badge. the game should have less freezes. [make sure you get the squirt bottle before deleting it.]
