What would I have to do to be able to use this in Canada?
You can probably use an APK downloader to simulate a user from Australia and download the APK manually, then sideload it and install it that way. That's how I got it going. Proof:

But he uses it himself
Any proof on this? Unless it explicitly says that I'm banned I'll still try it. Besides, I plan to get a new phone anyway.

I'm playing and I live in EST

For some reason my Pokemon Trainer Club information is not working despite me logging on from my PC perfectly. Is anyone else having trouble logging in using Pokemon Trainer Club?

-Nobody got banned, we just bombed the severs.
-If it's not out in your region, just download the apk and it works fine, no location spoofing required.

So how is the transaction model for this?
Is it Pay to Win, pay to progress etc . . .
Most mobile app disguised as "games" usually hide 90% of content behind huge cashwall or make you wait hours then multiple days between actions as you progress further.
So can anyone give me a rundown on if Pokémon GO suffers from being a cash milking app or if its an actual game thats enjoyable without paying constantly?

Google Play on my laptop says its available but not compatable. Google Play on my phone don't bring it up in search

That's because it hasn't been released to your country.
It's the same for me.
Open the link from your mobile device, it'll open the app page in play store. Then it will say it hasn't been released in your country.

I know how you feel. I got marshmallow on my note 5 and the TCG isn't compatible. Apparently Nintendo doesn't support most phones pre-November 2015 phones for the tcg. Might be the same for pokemon go

The TCG app is not compatible for download through play store cause your device is not a tablet, it's classified as a phone.
The app is only available (hopefully for now) only for tablets.
You can always sideload the apk, it'll work.
I did it with my nexus 4 which is a 2012 phone, smaller screen that your note 5 too.

I drive foe 5 mminutes and there are poke spots EVERYWHERE

and gyms too, all taken by a guy named "urMUMdidME" T_T
At some point soon i'm gonna go outside and claim all the local gyms. Nobody around here cares enough about pokemon to use it (and especially not to install an apk of it to bypass region lock) so I should be good.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol

I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
