It's gonna be released for Japan at the end of the month. I'm just gonna download the .apk file

I don't think that you will be able to play it. I'm sure you need a beta account or something to access the game.

I'd like to play it asap too, but I just can't imagine that Nintendo will let us play it without being a beta tester. It isn't impossible, but would be a surprise for me.

i doubt that pokemons will appear in maps outside of japan.. until the game is fully released...

Any software you can download on android can be downloaded free.
