The Pokemon Company has announced for the 20th anniversary of Pokemon, they will be releasing weekly animated shorts, ranging from every mainline Pokemon game. These shorts will retell certain scenes from every generation of Pokemon, lasting 3-5 minutes long each. It is unknown at this point how many episodes there will be, but the first two episodes will be on YouTube on September 16th.

Also, side bonus: It seems Nintendo is uploading the original Pokémon Origins to their Youtube channel, if anyone missed it. It's better than the normal anime IMO, if a bit short.

Eh. Idk. I liked the original series better than Origins. Not saying Origins was bad, but I knew, for a fact, that it was going to be overrated.

Charizard and Mewtwo...as much as I like both of them, I just can't get away from them. They keep popping up mostly everywhere and it bugs me. Pikachu, I can forgive since it's the franchise's mascot.

Also, I hate how Bulbasaur gets no love... Bulbasaur is my favorite Pokémon back in Gen 1... It's like:

Charizard: "Gasp! It's CHARIZARD!!! OMG!!! SO FAMOUS!!! MY I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH?!! CAN YOU BURN MY FACE?!!! AHHHHHH!!!" KA-BOOOM!!!

It's a bit odd that they're retreading Gen 1 waters what with Origins being as good as it was. Not that I don't mind seeing more of it, but it's a weird choice all the same. I can't wait to see iconic Gen 2 stuff. Here's hoping for the Red v Gold fight to be animated!

but you wont. gen 2 will be burning tower and red gyarados i dont really see them do that many shorts per game.
