Hey all,

Are there any actual codes out for the English version of these game that change the random encountered Pokemon to a specific one? Such as making it so I count encounter a Mew or so on?

I looked on the Code Junkies website, but there seems to only be items codes and such. I also tried PokeSav, but it seems that the Pokemon added don't have the correct stats and data unless you know how to fill those out yourself.

Anyone know if those codes exist?

Thanks for any help.

Also just noticed that the topic title makes it seem like I have codes. I don't, sorry. At least not apart from what's on the CodeJunkies website.

on supercheats.com (search to pokemon) you can find loads of AR english version codes, from some starters to some legends

Now, I've searched all over for the codes...
the event codes, that is...
I was beginning to wonder if they existed or not (Arceus Event, Darkrai Event, Shaymin Event codes, right).
And I finally find them, on a page in GameFAQs.
Guess what?
THEY
WORK!!
Quoting it word for word (credit to whomever made these wonderful fantastic working codes, THANK YOU!!!; retrieved from GameFAQs, as stated earlier):

Member Card for Darkai (Tested for Diamond, works; Pearl = ?)

Just press L+R and then go to any pokemart to recive the item as a mystery gift, I don't know if mystery gift is necessary, to activate the mystery gift option, go to serebii.net

I tried them out yesterday.
Was I one happy camper! They have NO side effects (from what I recall; nothing was changed, no Pokemon lost, nadda! But I recommend you check yourself, if you're skeptical). You press L+R, then you go STRAIGHT to a Mart. And a guy in green will be standing in there. Then he'll give you the designated item, and happy catching! It's as simple as that. You can even save and turn off, and the item will still work!... I think. I didn't try that until I actually reached them.

FOR SHAYMIN:
Get the item, Oak's Letter.
Go to route 224, I think it was. Right next to the Pokemon League...ish. It may take a little while to actually get to the route... and if you've never been there before, you have to escourt someone through it, just like you do with Riley and the like. (Sorry, can't expain how to get there. Just go to the room that was once blocked in Victory Road. You know, that "tunnel" that that guy was blocking before you fought the Elite Four. Hopefully you remember him... It's an actual TUNNEL, or OPENING IN THE WALL, not a flight of stairs. Hope that helps out some.)
REQUIRED: Rock Climb, Defog (optional, but believe me, bring it), Strength, Rock Smash(?), Surf. Shaymin is at Level 30, and if I recall correctly it knows Synthesis, but it has a 45 catch rate like Mew and Celebi and Rotom, so it shouldn't be too hard. Compaired to the next two, that is.

FOR DARKRAI:
Get the item, Member(ship) Card.
Go to... Canalave City, then go to that lonely one-room hotel at the top, above the Pokemon Center touching the sea (read the sign before going in, then after you get out later -- you'll be shocked).
Enter the hotel, then a guy will let you sleep... You'll be on New Moon Island before you know it.
REQUIRED: No HMs required, unless you want to. Darkrai's easy to get to, Level 40, KNOWS HYPNOSIS, so watch out for that.

FOR ARCEUS:
Fun, fun fun. Get the item Azure Flute from the Market.
Go to Coronet Mountain (Tengan Mountain, whatever you call it), and go back to the EXACT place where you fought Dialga/Palkia -- that same room. I'd recommend saving before you reach that final room. Anyway, the flute will shake, then ask you to play.
Play flute. Sound familiar?
Stairs will appear... Once you touch the platform at the VERY top, the computer will "take control" (as in, move forward without you moving the control pad), so if you didn't save before, NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME, ON THE STAIRS.
REQUIRED: Surf, Rock Smash, Strength, Defog (optional).
Arceus is, as we all know, LEVEL 80 and will be a HASSLE with Refresh, RECOVER, Hyper Beam, and Future Sight. Good luck catching this guy officially!... if you are without a Master Ball.

Oh, and if you want Mystery Gift (I don't know if you need it), you go to Jubilife City, go to the TV Station, go to the 3rd floor (yes, 3rd floor), then go down and in a stretched "room", where will be a man with brown hair and a young woman standing beside him. Talk to that guy with brown hair (I'll call him "the old guy") and he'll speak to you. Doesn't matter what he says, just what YOU say.
First password needed: EVERYONE HAPPY
After he "judges" that for a moment, he'll talk to you more.
Second password: WI-FI CONNECTION
Then he'll say "...Oh?" and then talk some more, then you've got Mystery Gift. Badda-boom.

NOTE: If ONE OR NONE of the above work (Darkrai Event, Shaymin Event, Arceus Event, and Mystery Gift-retrieval), say so and I'll see what I did wrong.
Enjoy.

Just asking... but do you need to have the game completed to get into the Harbor Inn? I activated the event via Pokesav + I talked to the guy in green and got the card. When I go to the Harbor Inn, it still just says it is locked.

Any help?

Sorry to sound so noobish, but how do you get the AR codes on to the R4? I just updated the R4 kernel to 1.17 and lost a ton of codes. They didn't come back when I re-loaded the 1.16. Found the AR codes I want but...

Aw, shit... that sounds so n00b.

Place CHEAT.DAT file (or/with usrcheat.dat) inside your system folder, and it'll appear when you're highlighting corresponding game (with exact same game ID, not name)

To make sure codes you want is inside the usrcheat.dat (you can's see inside cheat.dat) use R4 cheat code editor from r4 team, you can download it directly from their official site.

If you updated it cleanly (I mean, just overwrite evrything) you'll lost ALL of your cheat, since windows will overwrite system folder with new one, containing NO cheat.dat

use Rayder's cheat database, it's full of cheats for over 600 games (he claimed it, not me), or at least, 600 game IDs.

It will contain ANY cheat for Pokemon and lots of other games known to date
