Misc Pokemon Diamond DS to Wii Pokemon Ranch

I have no WiFi in my house.

Can the Pokémon Ranch on the Wii still connect to Pokémon Diamond on the DS?
If so, what settings would need to be made on both units? (Never messed with WiFi settings on either)

Yea, that's no problem at all, as the exchange between DS and Wii works completly offline anyway.
You just need to make sure that you enable wireless connections, if you're using a DSi or newer.

When I select 'Connect to Wii' , Diamond just restarts.

Are you playing Diamond on a flashcart? Which flashcart? What software version? Some softwares don't support Wii connectability.

Not necessarily. I asked which flashcart you're using because you might have a firmware option available to you that allows Wii connectivity.

I just connected my pearl game with a DS lite and a 3DS and it worked instantly.
Is it a legit Diamond game? Not all flashcards support DS-Wii connections.

CycloDS Evolution is one Flash Cart that would work with Wii Connectivity just fine.

Kind of an old cart though, I use it strictly for this.
