Hacking Pokémon Connectivity. (between DS and GBA)

Well, i play pokémon diamond, and i was asking myself it the connectivity between Pokémon Leaf Red or Ruby works on the G6, since i skipped Pokémon Ruby/Saphire generation, i would play the game if later on i could bring those pokémon in my Diamond game... If it works, how do you pull it off?

You mean using the G6 Lite alone to link the games? No it will not work for Pokemon

I tried using the GBA NDS linkage function a while ago and never could get it to work.

Not using the G6 Lite alone. You can use a slot 1 card and an original game, a slot 1 card with a patched DS rom and an EZ 3in1, or just a slot 1 card and EZ2
